ACT Psychology can be characterised by three important dimensions that cover the entirety of not just mental life, but everything and all there is: 1) the Psyche; 2) the Self, and 3) the Absolute. The Psyche mixes Intelligence, any faith in Consciousness, and the Self. The Psyche is, through the act of Perception alone, in a way facilities the path from a meta-reality to one that is more true. Ultimately, and despite many additional influences, all phenomena and phenomenal existence itself is a product of the Psyche and its Mental Processes, especially Judgements. On the other hand, the Self is less metaphysical and represents the deeply subjective characteristics of an individual’s honest state of affairs. When talking of the Self, I am talking about the Ego. The Self includes an individual’s Ego, Identity, Self-esteem, Memories, Knowledge, Habits, Goals, Beliefs, Desires, Personality, and more. See the article containing a Glossary for clear and precise definitions of all capitalised terms in my articles. Finally, by the Absolute I mean the one true totality of existence, which shares a reality of existence with a co-existent: a non-substantive existence. By this definition, cause and effort is not possible. Rather, substance that is perceived if all under constant transformation for the duration of one’s attention being focused in on that substance. It is impossible to know true facts about the non-subjective substance, or whatever exists beyond the means of our species’ current ability. My sense it may actually be a case of the latte, which is both an astonishing and terrifying proposition. The dual existence of these opposing forces is the Absolute reality.

Also of note is that the development of the Psyche is and the Self is grounded in learning. The Self is create consciousness-creating circumstances. combination with consciousness-creating circumstances Founded by a curious and obsessed Psyche, going by the alias 5MP only, Affine Psychology (AP) represents a major paradigm shift and hopefully an acceleration in understanding the human Self (the preferred term over “Mind”, “Mentality”, “Consciousness”, “Soul”, or “Cognition”). In AP, the word Psyche is actually closer to the German word “Geist”, which was used by Hegel and others to represent one part of some kind of ultimate spirit or “Ultimate Truth” called the Absolute, which I too get some purchase out of in describing reality’s ultimate “Wholeness”, “Oneness”, and underlying “Spirit”). As a result, spirit I conclude is a kind knowledge that persists in time despite the decay of regular organic matter that comprise a human. People pass away, but knowledge persists. The Psyche in Affine Psychology is kind of similar to this legacy of shared many concepts combined with a standard understanding of the Mind’s Mental Processes and Feelings.
